CSE Appointed as Danfoss Drives Partner
February 3rd 2006
CSE Industrial Electrical Distributors Southampton has been re-appointed as a Danfoss Drives Partner providing sales and technical support to customers who wish to purchase the VLT and high power drives range from Danfoss.
Ray Hargreaves, branch manager of CSE Southampton was delighted with the re-appointment saying “even though we were not official partners we continued to offer technical and sales support to our customers for the range of Danfoss Drive products and this value has again been recognised by Danfoss”
Danfoss is currently overhauling their range of inverter drives replacing the VLT 2800, 5000 and 6000 ranges with the FC300 and more to be announced soon. CSE is delighted to be at the forefront of these market changes and will be ready to support customers through this transition.
In addition, CSE Southampton is promoting the Danfoss high power VLT drives which is the smallest high power drive in its class. The renewed partnership means customers of CSE Southampton will have the ongoing support for Danfoss drives both with technical issues and competitive pricing.
Tom Smith, Danfoss Drives Sales Manager added “we are delighted to have re-appointed CSE Southampton as they provide a quality service to customers and are committed to the Danfoss drive market.”
As an authorised Danfoss drives partner, CSE Southampton will be able to access Danfoss’ new genuine spares and servicing initiative which will see only their partners able to source and service with genuine Danfoss drive parts. Ray Hargreaves added “this new initiative is perfect for our customers as they can be sure of receiving genuine Danfoss parts and that their servicing is handled smoothly with the minimum of disruption to their business.”
Ray went on to say “many of our customers use Danfoss drives for production lines that have to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – and although they keep spares on-site, if the production was to be suspended for even a short time this would cause a major problem, something we strive to avoid happening. This initiative will provide an even more enhanced backup service to minimise the possibility of these interruptions.”
