Nexans Alsecure NXS Cable

The Nexans Alsecure NXS is set to become one of the most sold cables in the UK due to the new wiring regulations BS7671, replacing twin and earth and some SWA cable installations. It is suitable for industrial and domestic wiring applications as it can be buried in concrete, attached to brick, stone, metal, wood and behind plaster. If the Alsecure NXS’s aluminium sheathing is penetrated by a sharp object (e.g. nail) it will trip a circuit breaker.

We have been notified of some further price increases by our suppliers, they are:

Erico - Copper price
Gewiss - Between 5-10%
Stock Electronics (SEL) - 2.5%
Grasslin - 7%
Adaptaflex / Kopex / Elkay - average of around 6%

Top Eldon Regional Distributor of 2007

We were delighted to be awarded a plaque for the 'Eldon Regional Distributor of the year 2007'. The photo below was taken outside head office with John Le Grys (Managing Director) and Tony Harris (Technical Director - right) of CSE and Andrew Wilson of Eldon (left).

New Southampton Signage

CSE's Southampton branch has had a makeover with some new signage at the front of the building.

CSE Southampton supplies the same range of products as Head Office with good stocks and is also the group Danfoss specialist - Danfoss Drives, Danfoss contactors and Danfoss Industrial Controls.
