318B Cable Applications

The 318B is used for panel, conduit and general wiring applications where there is a requirement for flexibility and in the event of fire there is a need to minimise the risk from smoke and toxic fumes but circuit integrity is not required.

318B Features

The 318B cable emits less than 0.5% Hydrogen Chloride (HCI) in accordance with BS 6425 Part 1 and IEC 60754 Part 1

• Conductors : Flexible Class 5 plain annealed stranded copper to BS6360
• Insulation : Low Smoke halogen Free (LSHF)
• Sheath : Low smoke  Halogen Free (LSHF) Compound Type LTS1 to BS 7655
• Sheath Colours : Available in white, grey or black

• 2-Core : Brown and Blue
• 3 Core : Brown, Blue and Green / Yellow
• 4 Core : Brown, blue, black and green / yellow
• 5 Core : Brown, Blue, Black, Green / Yellow and Black

Operating Temperature Range : + 5^oC + 90^oC flexing
                                                           -20^oC to 90^oC fixed

Minimum Bending Radius : 15 x overall diameter for flexing applications
                                                  7.5 x overall diameter for fixed applications
