Cable Application
Alsecure® NX200 is a standard fire resistant cable for fire alarm and emergency lighting installations complying with BS 5839 and BS 5266. Alsecure® NX200 has been designed to be a highly user friendly, high performance Fire Resistant cable. NX200 meets and exceeds requirements of all applicable standards and carry independent third party certification.
Alsecure® NX200 is fully LUL and BASEC approved.
To provide the ultimate ease and speed of installation, stripping of both insulation and sheath couldn't be easier. Just lightly ring the sheath and break it away together with the bonded aluminium foil. The most common sizes have no additional binders or loose foils so the silicone conductor insulation can then be stripped off in an instant saving you time and money.
Nexans Alsecure® NX200 can be used for:
- AC and DV voltages of 300/500V.
- Fire detection and fire alarm critical signal path according to BS 5839-1:2002 + A2:2008 “Standard” application areas
- Voice alarm systems according to BS5839-8:2008
- Emergency lighting systems according to BS5266-1:2005
Nexans Alsecure® NX200 improved features:
