CSE has recently purchased an additional forklift to compliment its existing heavy duty 4 tonne forklift. As well as lightening the load on the existing forklift, CSE is currently installing a new mezzanine floor into the existing warehouse to maximise storage space and facilitate further growth across the business.
The warehouse team is always very busy with existing clients, delivering via the van to the local area, nationally and internationally via couriers and globally via freight forwarders whilst also spending time cutting many stock cables to lengths specified by clients, saving them time on site. The forklift will help the team save time by not having to wait for the other forklift to finish jobs and increasing efficiency.
As can be seen from the photos, the Cables team are already well acquainted with the forklift and were busy preparing the warehouse for the installation of the new additional floorspace which will see the overall capacity rise to around 13,000 sq ft.
Corrina Butler, Director of CSE Cables said “we have been looking at the options for a new forklift for a while and now it has arrived the warehouse team area already putting it to great use, even before the new Mezzanine is installed”.
John Le Grys, Managing Director of CSE added to Corrina’s thoughts saying “we’ve been considering the mezzanine floor for a while and decided that installing it gives the CSE group of companies additional options for moving the business forward in the future, for which we are very excited”.
