Corrina Butler, CSE Cables’ Managing Director has many years experience of the industrial cable market and regularly pops out of the office to visit our existing customers and potential new clients to find out more about their business and individual cable requirements.
A particular vertical market she is particular well versed in is the outdoor events and entertainment industry. Corrina recently undertook one of her regular visits to one of the UK’s largest outside broadcasting companies to work with them to develop a 16amp plug and socket with an IP rating of IP67 which they had a particular requirement for. The environment these accessories are subjected to is a very harsh one. We currently supply the customer with Arctic grade cable and the 16amp plugs and sockets fitted to the cable which are designed to withstand rough treatment as well as the harsh environment.
Once these leads are made up with the arctic grade cable and the IP67 plugs and sockets should withstand all manner of applications and treatment, from being installed in major stadiums to 900 acre festivals. The arctic grade cable CSE Cables supply is commonly used as temporary power supplies on construction sites and a great many other outdoor applications. Corrina said “I thoroughly enjoy visiting my clients and getting to know their business inside out, it means we can have that extra level of insight to help them achieve precisely what they need to make their business as efficient as possible. This has led to us working closely with them to bring new products on-line which best meet their requirements”.
The broadcast market has changed beyond recognition in the last 15-20 years, something which isn’t lost on Corrina “when I first started working with broadcast clients, the market had far fewer broadcast mediums and was a much smaller marketplace with minimal outside broadcasting and hence cabling requirements. Now with the development of television and radio and additional content in different mediums, the broadcasters have an ongoing need for new and improved cabling products which we enjoy working towards finding a solution for them” If you would like to chat over your broadcasting cable requirements or any other industry, give the sales team a call or email and they will be more than happy to help.
