Flatform Cables
Flatform Cables (commonly referred to as flat cables) are used in multiple hoisting and lifting applications. They offer a smaller bending radius than typical round cables, which makes them ideal for applications of high mechanical stress and frequent bending in one plane. H07VVH6-F, NGFLGOEU-J and YCFLY are just a few examples of cables within our remit.
Reeling Cables
We can offer flexible low voltage reeling cables (such as NSHTÖU-J) for applications that require continual reeling and unreeling. If you're looking for popular Prysmian types such as Cordaflex(SMK) and Trommelflex, as well as Protolon(SMK) or NTSCGEWÖU, let us know what you need and we can help. Basket Cables
These cables are designed for use on the latest generations of high-speed container cranes with gravity-fed collector baskets. They combine the features of superior flexibility with the additional ballast that you need for the job. Prysmian SPREADERFLEX® 3GSLTOE (supersedes YSLTOE) is well known for these applications, and CSE would like to help.
Pendant Cables
CSE can also provide pendant cables — cable with lateral suspension strands used to remotely control overhead cranes from pushbutton boxes. We can offer equivalents to the popular Nexans BOITALYON®R.
Tunnelling and Underground Works
Tunnelling and underground works demand cable that can survive constant flexing, abrasion, moisture, oil and mechanical damage. (N)SSHÖU (NSSHÖEU, or Prysmian's Protomont) is a typical example: a heavy-duty rubber trailing cable with an oil-resistant, flame-retardant sheath, designed for mobile and reeled applications such as tunnel boring machines, roadheaders, conveyors, drilling rigs and dewatering pumps.
